Arc Raiders Creators Present Roadmap for 2026

The extraction shooter Arc Raiders from Embark Studios has had a successful launch, and the developers are now revealing an ambitious schedule for the first half of the year.

The title ARC Raiders, which stormed onto the scene last October, stands on the threshold of its first full season, and the authors have no intention of slowing down.

The development team has decided on maximum transparency and presented the community with a detailed plan for the next 4 months designed to maintain interest in the constantly changing post-apocalyptic world. The strategy counts on a regular monthly update cycle. I must admit that this is a very successful move by the developers.

The published schedule may not reveal every secret down to the last bolt, but it clearly defines the types of additions that Raiders can look forward to. The main attraction will be previously unseen variants of mechanical adversaries.

The core promise of the Arc Raiders developers targets practical things: new enemies, new maps, new conditions, and system adjustments that change the course of expeditions. Such a breakdown makes sense for a continuously expanding game.

The February update Shrouded Sky and March’s Flashpoint will turn up the heat by introducing new threats from ARC machines. Raiders will have to deal not only with more aggressive artificial intelligence but also with changing environmental conditions. Furthermore, February will open the so-called expedition window and introduce a new feature in the form of the Raider Deck.

The culmination of the spring offensive falls in April under the label Riven Tides. This month will likely bring the most significant content injection in the form of a completely new map, expanding the playable world into unexplored territory. However, exploring the unknown area will be no walk in the park, as a confrontation with a new type of large ARC machine awaits the brave.
