The State of Azeroth livestream kicked off in style, and executive producer Holly Longdale boasted about staggering numbers regarding the new Housing feature. Players spent an incredible 4,000,000 hours building their virtual homes during the first 2 weeks and placed over 14,000,000 decorations.

The spring months will bring a series of updates focused on the dynamic development of the story and gameplay activities. Version 12.0.5 will enrich the world with global Void Assaults events and a lighthearted Prop Hunt game mode. The subsequent update, 12.0.7, will further escalate the conflict with the Void.
Summer will belong to the major 12.1 update, which will kick off the second season and bring a significant expansion of the game world. Adventurers will enter an entirely new zone that will be home to another raid, dungeon, and new Delves. At this stage, developers also plan significant enhancements to social features, the user interface, and especially the housing system.
The autumn season will culminate on September 12 with the return of the legendary BlizzCon event, followed by experimental novelties. Update 12.1.5 will introduce the unique Labyrinths system, another raid, and unspecified new content. The year will conclude with version 12.1.7, which will bring holiday events, story quests, and a new standalone game mode.
Fans of classic versions also deserve attention, as they can expect the Escalation update for Mists of Pandaria and the upcoming launch of Burning Crusade Classic on anniversary servers.
