The technical background of the entire update is based on the improved Prism emulator, which serves as a bridge between software for classic processors and the modern ARM architecture. New support for AVX and AVX2 instruction sets ensures that even modern and computationally demanding games run smoothly and stably.

ARM technology represents a different approach to processor design, which, unlike classic chips in standard computers, prioritizes energy efficiency and low heat over raw power.

A key innovation is also the integration of the Epic Anti-Cheat system, which was previously a major obstacle for launching popular multiplayer battles. Thanks to the removal of this barrier, players can now enjoy hits like Fortnite or Gears of War: Reloaded without worrying about technical complications or server bans.

Navigating the extensive catalog is made easier by the Windows Performance Fit feature, which tells the user in advance how well a given title will run on their specific hardware. This element eliminates trial and error and saves time and data transfers when downloading games that the device might not handle. The implementation is based on intensive testing in the Insider program.

The effort to expand the Xbox ecosystem does not stop here, and Microsoft promises another wave of improvements in the coming months.
