The gaming scene is buzzing with speculation once again, fueled by a respected insider known as NateTheHate. By all accounts, a PlayStation State of Play should arrive as early as February.

According to the leak, February 2026 is set to bring another PlayStation State of Play. The report is based on a single concise piece of information: the insider known as NateTheHate reportedly confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that a State of Play presentation is being prepared for February. Only the timing in the calendar was mentioned, without a specific date, broadcast length, or hint of the program.

The hunger for information is immense, as a significant amount of time has passed since the last major presentation. While the Japanese manufacturer held a smaller event in November 2025, it focused exclusively on titles developed in Asia and Japan, which didn't quite satisfy the Western audience.

The last full-fledged State of Play with global reach took place in September 2025, so the February date seems like a logical step for introducing blockbusters for the upcoming fiscal year.
